Near to the holy city of Qom, there is a mountain, called “Khidr Mountain”. On top of this mountain, there is a mosque which is believed Prophet Khidr was praying there. Khidr or Al-Khidr was one of prophets. “Khidr” is an Arabic word means green, he got this name because the ground became green as the result of his presence. There is also a 3000-year-old cave on the top and adjacent to the mosque. Based on the Archeologists’ opinion this cave was a place of worship and a spiritual private place for mystics from really old time. For easy climbing and reaching to the top there is a paved trail. From the top of this mountain, you will see the view of whole city which is differently picturesque at nights.
