Skiing in Iran…!

In a hot country with two remarkable deserts!

The idea may seem a little bit crazy!

Thanks to the extraordinary geography and the high mountain ranges, Iran is one of those countries that consists of the highest slopes and ski resorts in the world. It is interesting to visit Iran not just from the cultural and historical perspective. Having a new experience and adventure through the high mountains of Alborz with the population who likes skiing, amateurs and expert ones.

Iran is also blessed by regular snowfalls up to 7 m (21 feet) every winter. What attracts your attention is the sunny weather in these parts of Iran.

Indeed, Iran has at least 25 ski resorts that many of them are among the 20 highest ones in the world.

Being a mountainous country, there is more than one million km altitude in Iran. It is worthy to mention that we have been skiing in Iran for nearly 50 years professionally.

 

Itinerary

Day 1 | Tehran

Arrival and greeting by your guide O/n Tehran

Day 2 | Tehran/Shemshak

Early departure for Shemshak (70km). Resting in a luxurious cabin in the ski resort, having lunch and Skiing all the afternoon, dining at the Riverside Restaurant and getting acquaintance with Iranians skiers. O/n Shemshak

Day 3 | Shemshak/Darbandsar/Shemshak

Having Breakfast in the Shemshak Hotel and driving to Darbandsar (12km). Skiing the whole day untill afternoon and returning to Shemshak for dinner. O/n Shemshak

Day 4 | Shemshak/Dizin/Shemshak

After Breakfast in the hotel, heading for Dizin and skiing in the largest ski resort in Iran, enjoying lunch in Dizin and skiing until afternoon, at least diner awaiting you. O/n Shemshak

Day 5 | Shemshak/Tehran/Abuzeidabad

After breakfast, heading towards Tehran downtown to visit Golestan Complex (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and Grand Bazaar. After lunch, going towards Abuzeidabad O/N Abuzedyabad Caravanserai

Day 6 | Kashan- Abuzeidabad Desert

In the morning, heading towards Abuzeidabad village to explore stretch of rippling sand dunes and enjoy the optional camel riding. Watching the sunset before going to the old caravanserai for the dinner and resting. O/N Abuzedyabad Caravanserai

Day 7 | Abuzeidabad - Isfahan

In the morning, driving towards Isfahan, the capital city of Safavid Dynasty. Full day city excursion to Isfahan including Naqsh-e Jahan Square, Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, Shah Mosque, Ali Qapu Palace, Chehel Sotoun, Vank Cathedral, and Isfahan Music Museum. Strolling over Khaju Bridge and Si-o-se-pol Bridge at night. Resting at the Hotel. O/N Isfahan
