Rey Excursion Tour

Ray is a historical region in south of Tehran. In this district, you will visit four historical places. “Cheshmeh Ali” spring is a historical and natural site which dates back to Parthian Empire. In this site, there is also a rock relief from Qajar dynasty. Toqrol tower with 20m high from Seljuq dynasty is another magnificent structure in Ray area to be explored. It’s said that this structure was used as a Sundial.
In the district of Ray, there are two Shia holy shrines. One of them is “Shah Abdol Azim Shrine” with brilliant mirror works in which a descendant of the 3rd Shia Imam is buried. The building dates back to Safavid dynasty. Another one is “Bibi Shahrbanoo Shrine” located in the heart of a mountain and in which the wife of the 2nd Shia Imam is buried.
